What PPC Management Fees Cover

A management fee should explain which work you are paying for. It is different from the budget the advertising platform uses to buy traffic. Before comparing fees, clarify the accounts, campaigns, responsibilities and separate projects involved.

Here is how I discuss scope at TerryKX Media so you can assess a quote against the work your business needs.

Separate the two budgets

Advertising spend is paid to Google, Meta or TikTok for ad delivery. The management fee pays for the agreed account work. A management fee does not replace the budget paid to the platform.

My packages are per ad account: Basic $300 per month for spend up to $3,000; Standard $600 for spend between $3,000 and $9,000; Premium starting at $900 above $9,000. Final pricing depends on campaigns and workload. The pricing page explains the spend bands and boundaries.

Ask what the campaign work involves

Which account and campaigns are managed? What are the goals, markets and measurement priorities? Structure, copy, budgets and testing need to fit those answers. The starting review also needs to identify what already works and what requires attention.

Clarify who provides approved creative, product information and lead-quality feedback, and who can make website changes. A quote is more useful when these responsibilities are stated. You retain account ownership and provide access through supported platform permissions.

A fee for one account is not coverage of every platform

A business using a Google Ads account and a Meta account has a different scope from a single account. Several accounts or markets can add further research, creative and reporting work. Share the actual accounts before assuming one fee covers everything.

Spend bands provide a starting point, while the final scope reflects the workload. A lower headline price does not establish that the same campaigns, testing or support are included.

Defined projects need defined deliverables

An audit delivers findings and recommendations; setup implements a starting plan. A tracking project can define events or address missing and duplicate reporting. These are separate from continuous campaign management.

Creative production and landing page implementation need clear boundaries too. Reviewing an advert or recommending a page change does not imply unlimited filming, design or a full website build. Tasks, deliverables and dependencies belong in the scope.

Reporting and the quote should support decisions

For a store, purchases and conversion value need context from margins and order value. For lead generation, enquiry counts need qualification feedback. Reports should preserve their dates and definitions, as the anonymous sources in my Portfolio do.

Share the website, platforms, markets, languages, approximate spend and main issue. Explain whether you want assessment, setup or management. Reporting and communication arrangements are agreed with the work; discounts, minimum terms and cancellation conditions should not be assumed.

Discuss the right scope for your business

Tell me about your website, target markets, advertising spend and main priority. I will review the context and discuss a practical scope with you before any work starts.
