Client Onboarding & Account Access
Secure access to Google Ads, Google Analytics 4, and Meta advertising assets — with Terry managing your campaigns personally.
This guide is for clients who have confirmed a project with Terry. Choose the relevant platform below and grant access only to the assets agreed for your work. You keep ownership of your accounts.
Before you begin: Please do not send account passwords, two-factor authentication codes, or personal login credentials. Google Analytics invitation email and Meta Business Portfolio ID are supplied directly by Terry after the project scope is confirmed.
Google Ads — MCC Account Access
Use this method to link your existing Google Ads account to my Google Ads Manager account (MCC). You do not need to share your Google login.
Step 1 — Find your Google Ads Customer ID
Sign in at ads.google.com. Your Customer ID is the ten-digit number displayed in the account header or account selector, typically formatted 123-456-7890.
Step 2 — Send your Customer ID
Send the ID to terrykxmedia@outlook.com or reply through our agreed communication channel. Please double-check that you are sending the ID for the account to be managed.
Step 3 — Approve the manager request
I will send an MCC linking request. In your Google Ads account, open Admin → Access and security → Managers (the label may differ by interface version) and accept the pending manager-account request if the requesting account matches the details I provide.
Step 4 — Confirm access
Let me know when you have accepted. I will confirm the link and review the agreed campaigns and settings. Your billing stays with your own Google Ads account.
Only an appropriately authorized Google Ads administrator can approve the manager link. If the request is not visible, check that you are signed into the correct account.

Google Analytics 4 — Property Access
Google Analytics 4 access is separate from Google Ads MCC access. Use it when reviewing traffic, events, conversion measurement, attribution, or campaign reporting is part of the agreed scope.
Step 1 — Open the correct GA4 property
Sign in to Google Analytics, select the relevant account and GA4 property, then go to Admin → Property access management.
Step 2 — Add a user
Select the + control and choose Add users. Enter the Google account email that Terry provides to you for analytics access. Do not guess the address or use an unrelated email.
Step 3 — Assign the agreed role
Choose a role appropriate to the work: Viewer for read-only reviews or Editor when implementing and changing measurement configuration is in scope. Administrator access is not routinely required. Enable user notification, if available, and save.
Step 4 — Let me know
Tell me which GA4 property you invited me to. I will confirm access before making any agreed changes.

Meta Ads — Partner Access via Business Portfolio ID
For Meta Ads, I generally recommend Partner Access using a Business Portfolio ID when your assets are owned by a Meta business portfolio. Use the email invitation method only when we have agreed that it is appropriate for your setup. These are alternatives; you normally do not need both.
Step 1 — Open Business Settings
Go to Meta Business Suite, select the correct business portfolio and open Settings → Business Settings → Users → Partners.
Step 2 — Add a partner
Choose Add, then Give a partner access to your assets (wording may vary). Enter the Business Portfolio ID provided to you directly by Terry after we confirm the engagement. No Business ID is published on this page.
Step 3 — Assign the relevant assets
Grant access to the assets included in our agreed work, where applicable:
- Meta Ad Account
- Facebook Page
- Instagram Account
- Meta Pixel / Dataset
- Facebook Shop / Catalog, if needed for commerce ads
Choose only the permissions needed for managing campaigns and measurement; full control is not always necessary.
Step 4 — Save and confirm
Review the selected assets, save the partner assignment, and let me know. I will check which assets and permissions are available before we begin.
Meta Ads — Access via Email Invitation
If we agree to use a direct invitation instead of partner access, follow these steps. Depending on your Meta business portfolio and security settings, only someone with the required administrative permissions can invite people.
Step 1 — Open People
In Meta Business Suite, select the correct business portfolio and go to Settings → Business Settings → Users → People.
Step 2 — Invite by email
Choose Invite people or Add people. Enter the specific Meta account email Terry provides directly for this engagement. Confirm the intended role and only the access you have agreed to provide.
Step 3 — Assign assets
Select the relevant ad account, Facebook Page, Instagram account, Pixel / Dataset, and Catalog if applicable. Grant appropriate task-level permissions rather than automatically granting full business control.
Step 4 — Send the invitation
Review the invitation, send it and let me know. I will accept it and verify the assets. If Meta prevents the invitation, use the partner method above or contact me so we can confirm a suitable setup.
